Need to remember that the players have all been offered like for like contracts, they don't have to accept them, if I'm a half decent player agent I should be talking to whoever is interested to see if I can get a better deal, its not like the FFA is going to withdraw the contract offer, would be a PR disaster so the agent has the chance to shop the player around and worse case accept the FFA deal.

Has anyone read whether any players have accepted or declined their contracts? I wonder if they're waiting for the coach to be named. I probably would be to be honest. The FFA need to put a deadline on acceptance however.

Issues are players away on holidays may not be accessible to Newy if they have gone Interstate or Overseas

Other thing was PFA were advising the players to refrain from signing on for now en masse until they have sorted out a few issues with FFA in regards to super entitlements etc
