2 games were moved... one at Charlestown and one at Blacksmiths... the games were played and not declared 1-1 draws like some other clubs may have been content with doing. This was a directive from NNSW to minimise traffic on the ground ahead of the FFA Cup fixtures. I think you'll find that the Magic Youth played more games than most other clubs with only 1 double points round also played during the year. So the committees extra work to ensure the games did get played regardless of venue did benefit the Magic Youth... there is no regulation that states games must be played at the venue of the First Team. Corrected enough for you Ham-bungler!

You missed one to Connelly park, quality surface that. So 3 moved, plus a 6 point game. The bottom line - Magic youth did not play at Magic park from late May until the final round of the season. I made no comment about regulations magician, just couldn't see how $60k spent on drainage (or whatever the amount), actually benefited the youth like you claimed.

The drainage benefitted the youth as some of the 6 home games played before May were played during rainy periods, which previously would have been called off, especially on 2 double header Yth Sat, Snrs Sun Weekends. Bottom line- so what- In the end the games were played Magic finished top 4 in all youth grades and the universe is in balance.

Magic youth have much bigger problems than missing some home games this season. Coaches being sacked mid season, a Technical Director seen as incompetent by the players, a coach constantly changing structure and player positions without ever training in those positions and some of the worst displays of nepotism ever seen while lying to the players that everyone gets equal game time. Expect a mass exodus if these same people are ruining/running the show next year.

    Gone.
Heard Valo plan to contribute to charity by participating in Dry April, May, June, July, August at Cahill Oval for the 2016 season.

Seriously though, how's Southy's player retention going FR? Most keen to try and get back up next year or will you need a few fresh faces?
For me Balcomb was their best all season, closely followed by Dan Johnson. Bures did well. Stevens, Pullin, Parker, Stocker and Wells all did alright when needed to step up, and will be better off for the experience.

Mass exodus wont faze Magic, they will just turn to their development squads (ie. ex: Emerging Jets) to bolster their squads again!

On the topic of coaches, seems the "B" licence ruling by NNSW Football has caught up with the clubs, quality coaches reluctant to continue given the demands of B licence accreditation. Theres more quality coaches in the stands than in the dugouts.

goes without saying, NPL Youth gone, coach gone, and more than likely the better senior players will opt for NPL football, all this on top of trying to get back into NPL ASAP, nothing to do with Southy as a club, the same would apply if it was Edgeworth, Magic or Olympic.
