Newcastle have an injury crisis with keepers this year but i've got no idea about Bournemouth's backup keepers.

    this one....

good luck to him, he'll develop into a great keeper if he can settle in at a club.

if he can't though, im not keen on having him back, we need some consistency

The same might be true for Poljak at WSW. They probably found better value elsewhere.

Alternatively, when coaches are not getting results they usually point the finger at the players rather than their own inadequacies. As such it could be argued that Topor and Elrich were shafted by a coach looking to shift the blame for the teams poor performances and Popovic given his teams poor performances may have done exactly the same.

My opinion is that while Poljak is technically very sound he doesn't bring anything to the table when it comes to goals - and midfielders need to score goals or at least be able to thread a quality pass to a striker.
I'm satisfied with poljak this season, especially compared to what we had in the middle last season. I think the issue is not with poljak but with who we have to play next to poljak and also tactics. Poljak is capable of getting forward and shooting or providing a pass but it's pretty damn obvious that he and Watson are asked not to venture too far forward. Watson is a poorer version of poljak. If we continue to play this formation of 2 'no6's' in front of the back 4 you won't get a goal threat from whoever you play there unless we find someone with remarkable speed and engines.

As if he is leaving Jets for an EPL club

    FFS

    It ain't April 1st

Take that with a pinch of salt

He may well be off back to Europe again soon but he ain't going to an EPL club particularly with his much vaunted ability at flapping at crosses as it is at this time FFS

    he's a 6....

why the **** is it his job to score/create goals?

his job is to cover the back 4 and keep it simple when we win it

    ffs

It is as much his job to score or create goals as it is for the play maker and the striker to defend.

Otherwise you end up being predictable and very easy to shutdown.

This is the Jets in a nutshell.

It is actually his job to distribute the ball to the wingers strikers no 10 over lapping full backs quickly and effectively. So they are in space and given good quality ball to showcase their skills

Reality is he fails to do so well and either fails to pass quickly enough or doesn't hit the target perfectly and disrupts the attack by playing it a yard or two away from where it should be going

Playing this passing shit we have ever since GVE sucked the FFA mango means we have to have very very good 6-8 at our club
Successive managers continue to fail in addressing this

Bring back zads. Least he'll shoot. Even if it does end up on the go kart track

It's a shame we lost him as a result of the muppet considering he had a year left on his contract.

Signing Zads or a player like Zads would be the type of player this team needs.

If zads is the answer we might as well quit now.
