Been doing some scouting for a few Chinese signings. If we can't fit them under the salary cap I'll be happy to store them at my house.

Find Millers comments interesting re: not signing anymore minimum wage players in reference to the clash with the NPL select side ie Virgili and Moriyasu. Brennan and Pav for eg I assume would be minimum wage, with Nabbout currently trialling, he probably would not fit in the minimum wage category but he surely wouldn't be considered higher than the next tier of players ie probably Cooper, Cowburn....surely?
We are talking about a team that sacked a player who scored nine goals in twenty two appearances - so I wouldn't let logic enter into the debate.
He's not had a lot of game time given he was behind Berisha at Victory but when he did play he did make a difference and showed some class.
I'd give Nabbout a contract and punt some of the shit we already have on the books that's failed to make the grade.
Brennan for example wouldn't be as good as Virgilli in my opinion - and thats no endorsement to sign Vigilli either.

Triff wasnt sacked - he left. Big difference.

No difference at all. Miller constantly whined how unhappy he was with him and the bloke left because he didn't feel welcome.
Then you have Sash who was top scorer and given the boot as well / did not get another contract.
The club hates goal scorers and will do all they can to get rid of them.
Go Jets.
Braedyn Crowley scored another hat trick today playing in the Victorian NPL, another promising forward sent on his way
At least he could score a penalty

They're not the same people though. The footballing department has changed so often it's not funny and we've had new CEO's every season.
The only people with any continuity with the club over an extended period of failure are Ando as kit man, and all of us as fans.
