So your saying he going to be just like David Carney
    ??

On another note those who reckon he not good enough for us.

Bulut is a better striker then Haliti. And until Koko shows something then he's a better striker then him too. If we go off our track record of letting go our visa strikers each year then at least it will cover Koko when we release him. Not saying it's the right decision I'm just saying what will happen. That will free up a visa spot too. It's not a horrible signing

You usually blow up when we sign other clubs' rejects. So you're happy for us to sign a player who can't even shine in a team lower than us on the table?

For the record, I'm not totally against it. Although it appears Haliti, with his next to nothing game time, is on the bubble.

p.s. I'm only for the signing if Jets members get discounted tickets for the Inky Tears Spoken Word tour.

Yes now that you mention carney.
There was a small rumour going around a few weeks ago that carney wanted to return to us.

Bulut will end up being a Saint of Griffology. Exactly what we need. Will support Jonesy if this happens.

The bloke has only scored about 8 goals in his senior career, do we really need another attacking player incapable of scoring?

5 of those in 9 games with WSW in 2015. He's not (completely) incapable of scoring.

With his last club he scored 56 Goals in 97 appearances in the Finnish Premier League suggesting Kokko knows how to score goals. Comments suggesting otherwise are ridiculous.
Haliti is a good impact player and scores some great goals - but he doesn't do it often enough to be anything but a back up at this level.
Bulut out of Sydney and into a more relaxed environment like Newcastle, surrounded by the right people could be anything. We should give him a chance and sign him until seasons end.

Whilst I agree and don't doubt Kokko is quality, he has not shown he can do that in this league. YET. I understand injury etc and I'm prepared to give him a go. I'm just sayin that I think the critics of Bulut need to see that this is a player that HAS proven he can be an out and out goalscorer in this league. Also we as a club aren't good at giving our overseas strikers a second chance. I was a big fan of Triff and thought he did enough as a first year import. Which alot of people underestimate. I think Haliti is not or never will be the player he was before his knee injury and it would be a gamble to take on another year of him with limited game time. I just see Bulut as a better back up option then Haliti in terms of ability and readiness to play.
