    Good stuff. What's your point?

Jets now 1 point off 9th, taking on the 2nd place team. How quickly times can change. Hey Member, where is your god Jones now?

Can't wait for him to be sacked when we finish below the NPL Mariners.

Muscat reckons we have no fans http://www.theherald.com.au/story/44...sphere/?cs=306

Jones doesn't want Nabbout to play against the Tards like Hoole does when we play Shitney... http://www.theherald.com.au/story/44...-club/?cs=2439
Life isn't the same without Con... but it can only improve without Tinks...

I don't think its just the fans - the stadium at the moment has no soul or atmosphere no matter what is on or how many people are there.

wait til the Knights get sent to Ipswich and the stadium becomes a crumbling, unloved relic.

    will be tops.

Looking forward to this. I feel in my waters that Nabbout, Sugar and Brown will destroy Victory.

Round 2 probably a bit harsh.

But he hasn't done anything fantastic for a long time. I cant remember him standing out in a game for a long time.

He's a pretty good work horse though. Good engines etc.

He started really well, there's no doubt. He was pretty good against Adelaide, when we won at the death as well. He's certainly been shifted around to accomodate absences in the team too.

I think he will start this week and it will be interesting the see if the direct counter attacking play and vision provided by Leilei is reproduced with him in the team.

And 1 off 6th. Depends what type of person you are.

Also, Seeking him out with some nothing remark while he's in the promise land? Sounds like he's your God!

This will be a tough period for Jones where we will get to see exactly what he is made of. Lose tonight and we then have to back up in 4 days against an Adelaide who will be stinging. Then 2 fixtures against the Mariners who are flying and Sydney still to come.

The Jets are currently in 7th place playing the team that's coming 2nd and you are implying that Jones is a failure if the Jets don't win ? Ridiculous.
Then compare the budgets of the two teams - even more ridiculous.
Then look at Perth who smashed Adelaide 5-0 and yet only beat the Jets 3-2 and the Jets also had a chance or two to win the match and Adelaide didn't.
There is absolutely no logic to your posts these days. What happened ?

Jets lose tonight and we are in the same run of form over the last 5 games as Adelaide. It certainly doesn't feel like it.

In the final 8 games we play the three teams below us 4 times, and 2 of the 3 teams directly above us. That should be a magic draw with everything to play for.

You are implying that Jones needs to beat Melbourne or he's not good enough.
Based on form I think the Jets are a chance against Melbourne but if the defence falls asleep they could get punished. A draw would be a good result.
Adelaide the Jets should be expected to beat, and they should also be able to roll the Mariners as well.

Hence, I'll be blowing up deluxe if we fail to win against Adelaide and the Mariners. The Melbourne game, I'm not expecting to win.
Sydney - We have no chance against.

He is praised often and he is loved deeply among Victory fans, but I think Broxham at left back is their weakness. He's had a few poor games there, but no one (Melbourne fans, commentators) seems to be pointing this out.

I hope Jets staff are aware of this, and analyse opponents' games. Sometimes I wonder, though.

I think you are reading the wrong post if you came to that conclusion...

I read it as "this is a period for Jones to show us how good a coach he is/can be. He has a game against 2nd place Melbourne, a game 4 days later against Adelaide who are reeling from a massive loss and then two derby fixtures against the scum and a trip to Sydney". How does that go close to implying "If he doesn't win tonight, he's not good enough"?
