You know what really grinds my gears?

Just on this, I personally never have photos taken standing in front of some object (Statue of Liberty as an example.) I am never going to look at that photo again.
Never once have I thought, "Gee, I wonder how I looked when I was standing in front of <insert monument here>"

I'd much rather a photo of the thing most people stand in front of.

Actually i'd find it more interesting people in front of monument. It details a specific time of life that cant be replaced. The postcards cover any monument.
