They could have played a competent side v Villa and then flown out whoever to face Flamengo in the final
It a 7 hour and 15 min flight on a similar Timezone from London to Qatar so it ain't going to be that taxing on them

Which comp is paying them more money? Cause that's the one you bring your star side.
