You only have to look at Gold Coast and ANZ to see what happens when you put a Stadium in the middle of nowhere. Pubs and restaurants pre and post game benefit from it and match day becomes a day out rather than just a day at the Football.

Where will we drink if it's at Glendale? Argy Pub?

No Rail into the city any more. City venues work when you have access in there.
No **** goes into the CBD now let alone with little parking available and the now even more so lack of public transport

Cardiff RSL/Cardiff Wests Iron Horse etc would be easy walking distance if they ever built the Interchange and associated roadworks over the train line there at Glendale connecting the industrial area at Cardiff to the Glendale SuperCentre etc

NBN just reported:No temporary seating to be installed for semi final.

So I'm looking forward to sitting comfortably on the hill, giving the bird to those from Sydney who missed out on tickets.

That's handy. Would have been pissed because I bought the young bloke a ticket in one of the grandstands and wouldn't like him to have to sit by himself.

Also would have been pissed if I'd have paid for a category a ticket because that's all that is left only for GA tickets to go on sale later on.

I know Cookers would like that. A nice mint stadium and pitch inside the running track.

To me the ideal site would be to kick EDI off their site at Cardiff and build there for the day the Glendale interchange gets built somewhere next millenia
EDI don't own the site. It's transport for nsw owned, downer just rent it.

No of one bloke who would be a Huge Fan of pools at the football.

Remember seeing someone in Sth Africa get Jacuzzis happening at the cricket and if I remember right they got pools happening in West Indies for the Cricket WC in 2007

Great game in canberra tonight. Iraqi crown awesome, palestinian fans good also but vastly outnumbered. Horns galore on the roads out.

Captain from Palestine was ballotelli's clone.
