Nothing to do with the ref.... Leave him out of that... No excuse, we were shit and never deserved the 3 points... We all have to admit it, including players, coaches and management ... No excuse.. And dont even deserve one point

I guess that's a matter of opinions. Firstly I agree we were terrible and were lucky to lead. It wasn't acceptable and is by far the worst performance we played all year. We didn't respond well and take advantage if the extra man and Miller needs to be responsible for that. Our passing lacked penetration. The mariners CBs sat on trifunovic and carney and followed them out when the ball came at them. Carney held the ball far too long and failed to release. Our passing was too slow to pass around them. We are a counter attacking team, so being asked to dominate and break a team down is not in our armour at the moment. That's the first time we've won the possession stat.

We're seeing now the effect of our lack of depth. We missed kanga badly and Leo's ability to turn and run.

But, Griffiths Jones, in my opinion, Yi m lgave the Mariners a soft ride in the second half in particular. There were times he could have played advantage and he failed to. He left me shaking my head and along with us, I think he had a poor game and I stick by that.

Anyway, saw JVS on the way out and he said they don't think Leo has broken anything but he seemed pretty preoccupied.

These past two performances have shown us that overall we've still got a ways to go, but are definitively better then last season which is a positive.
Boogard and Jackson are doing a good job at CB, and it'll be good to have Mullen who is starting team ready have to earn his way back into the team.
Lee is slipping in my eyes, last season it seemed like we picked up an absolute hidden gem and so far this season he's looking less and less like that same player. I think Hoffman should be on the bench, Cowburn could easily do his job better and in my opinion should be the starting RB come season end.
Cam Watson better not be re-signed, I'd rather see us use some new, young players. Really need Kanta back and put Cam back on the bench.
Carney is good on the ball, and can do some solid passes but is lazy, especially as a 10. He needs to stay on the wing and understand he's gotta run after the ball if he doesn't get to a pass first or loses the ball. Pav was also shit on the wing, and it showed that some of these guys should've been swapped around or the formation should've been changed.
Milos is hit and miss, can do some good shit and then make really questionable decisions or miss some easier chances.

Very poor effort tonight against ten men but I'm happy with Miller's post-match comments. Some serious words and obvious disappointment which is more than you would have seen from Stubbins in the same situation. Dominating possession against ten men isn't good enough. Deserved to lose IMO.

Jackson was quite good at CB but I was worried when Boogaard copped a knock late on. Any more injuries to key players could really play a toll on the season. Cowburn should start over Hoffman and defensive effort needs to be better from midfield. Hopefully Leonardo is back sooner rather than later as his input was missed. I want to see Andy Brennan get a chance, even as a late sub. Surely wouldn't hurt to change things up if he's fully fit.

Overall just disappointed at the fact that we still can't beat the coasties. Winning down there later this season will make up for it though.

At our rate maybe eight or even seven on the field would see us win. Disappointed not to see us put the foot down when they went to ten. One of these days we'll beat them.

anyone notice that paul izzo literally hurled himself into about 3 defenders and knocked a few over on the goal.

he was nowhere near the ball, how is that not given as a foul?

That was quite possibly the worst central midfield display ever. Watson and poljak were embarrassing in possession.
