Based on form I think the Jets are a chance against Melbourne but if the defence falls asleep they could get punished. A draw would be a good result.
Adelaide the Jets should be expected to beat, and they should also be able to roll the Mariners as well.

Hence, I'll be blowing up deluxe if we fail to win against Adelaide and the Mariners. The Melbourne game, I'm not expecting to win.
Sydney - We have no chance against.
Seriously now you are just making up what you want to hear now. Feel free to correct anything I said that was inaccurate, but don't make out that I am implying anything. I didn't even mention MV other than pointing out that our upcoming games will be tough ifwe lose. Which I described it as a tough period coming up. You have the wrong end of the stick here.

I don't think anyone is expecting the Jets to win. But if they lose then Jones has what should be a relatively easier draw than our opposition. 4 out of 7 games against the bottom 3. There should be no excuses.

[edit - should read 4 out of 8 games against the bottom 3]

    Who'd the mariners beat??

It's not like they smoked perth, Sydney or Melbourne

We beat city Perth and roar - yet we are still no good

They did beat Perth, twice, and they've beaten WSW, a team we've failed to beat in two attempts so far.

Fox mentioned about five times so far that Leilei is probably going to get snapped up by Liaoning

High time the betting companies had a market on the amount of times Raheem Sterling hits the ground each game

now im not going to put words in his mouth because im sure my good man The Member is surrounded by his beloved TV's at the moment, but Poljak is playing the type of game tonight that the Member wants our centre mids to play (except for a few poor final balls).

but this is not him sticking a foot in and running aimlessly. he's controlling things, and i think thats what the Member was getting at.

We're playing well, but the connection between mid and forward is still lacking. We haven't really looked like we'll score.

I understand we not winning but that was good shit from us the first half

Poljak and Stevie U are controlling the midfield

As a result our back 4 are pretty comfortable so much so Boogaard has a ****ing gypsy in his back pocket

The football has the right intent and we are having a ****ing go.

The only thing holding us back is a bit of class in the front half

Even with the squad shortcomings we have this is showing Jones has us on the right track

Where we struggling at the moment is belief in winning

That will come in time as our club gets used to not being shit all the time

Onwards and upwards and bring on the second half

More of the same with a few goals for the blokes in blue and gold tonight

Commentators going through all the stages of grief because Victory aren't winning by 5 yet.

Hoole's been good. Tame effort there though.

We're certainly creating the chances now, but with all of the near misses, I can just see besart popping up in the 95th minute to convert their one real chance and winning the game.

If only Leilei was half as good at dead-ball situations as everyone keeps telling us he is.

Jones has done some good things with the team this year but his lack of use of the bench still baffles me.
