That Sydney Dutch bloke is trash, but less trash than Bobo.
The more commentators idolise trash like Arzani and Da Silva at the expense of much better players like Ugabooga and Brilliante the quicker death of Australian football will be upon us.
Interesting move that it happened now, more from the player's perspective, because he can't move to another A-League club. I'd expect he will pick up a gig next season.
For what it's worth:
Devante Clut:
- Made 24 appearances for the Jets. 23 in the A-League and 1 in FFA Cup (9 starts and 15 as a substitute)
- Scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in A-League
- Was given his debut by Mark Jones, after signing for the club under Scott Miller.
- He's the 142nd player capped for the Jets in HAL and the 68th player to score for the club in the league.

Joining NSWPL for now according to Herald
Not trying to sound like an ass here but really the bloke was only ever state league quality.
Always got time for players who put in when on the pitch and who respect the fans and thank them when they leave. Hopefully Clut gets gametime at his next club
Good luck to Devante Clut in the future. We have a very strong group of players this season and he's not quite at their standard.
He will be a handfull at State league level though and should dominate.
He might be a chance in Thai leagues or similar as well.
All jokes aside i don't know if that says more about Clut or Mariners themselves. Go through there line up and it is player after player unwanted elsewhere for lets face it not being good enough. Reflects in there position on the table. The dumping ground of the unwanted. Criminal it is they are still around.
It can't be easy for any player not getting sufficient game time as we have seen with other players in the past. If Clut can get regular game time somewhere I think he will do well - because he's certainly got no major issues from a technical perspective. He'd probably offer the Mariners a lot more than Euro Hoole does.
