So what, What is the big deal in that ?. He has been afforded chance after chance at this level, In fact been kissed on the proverbial old fella more times than most when it comes to gifted opportunities to be a professional footballer and he comes up with nothing season after season, A big fat nothing
If working hard is the pre requisite for being A League standard then we may as well fold the national competition now. I am sure blokes running around ZPL work just as hard but they are not lining up for A League clubs. C'mon off it the league needs to be a better standard than what those two overrated state league standard players bring to the show.

Oh stop being so over dramatic ffs. Kid was hardly as bad as you’ve made out. Same goes with Ridenton.
Scape meet Goats.
If anything the momentum of the game swung when Ernie took off Fitzgerald & it had very little to do with bringing on Ridenton, we just completely lost our shape & width that he was providing. Was a really strange sub.

Didn't think we played that badly. Had adelaide beaten all over bar the quality of our finishing. Izzo didn't necessarily have a blinder, but he certainly kept them in it.
Much more direct from the midfield, lot more energy than adelaide seemed to have.
Yet for all that we lost. Bugger.
Is any A League team as good as the Jets at conceding goals within sight of half or full time?
Dead set, we are world champs at it.

As usual and just as undeniable Fitzuseless's record speaks for itself.Bloke is even struggling with the only part of his game he ever had going for him which was his speed. You said so yourself his performance was NOT defendable. Short memory or what ?.
Signing Fitzgerald was a piece of lazy recruiting by the club, End of section. We should have taken a punt on a unknown quantity than affording this bloke his upteenth opportunity. Clearly by your past posts you know the bloke and is clouding your judgement on his ability as a footballer always talking up the potential in him, How many clubs til that potential is realized FFS. Here is a scoop for you, He is a below average pedestrian footballer who has done nothing with twice as many opportunities provided to him than most get offered to them.
Anyways enough on Fitzuseless and Ridenton, I will let there week in week out performances do the talking for themselves LOL.

I don’t think he played particularly well first half, but was still our main attacking outlet. He went off tonight, we lost our shape & width, in turn Dimi couldn’t get on the ball with space & we no longer got behind their line. He is limited but he plays his role in our team well.
I honestly couldn’t give a **** about what he or any player has done in the past or who theyve played for, That has no bearing on our team. But if you’re so hell bent on bringing up his record are you also bringing up the championships he’s won or the far superior teams or coaches he’s played for & been recruited by? ...or that doesn’t fit your narrative? Yeh mate I got google too.
Maybe I’ve got too much empathy for these blokes but I’ve just never understood the need to consistently shit on our own players.
'our players'?
they've all got a certain thing in common and were signed by a certain bloke.
its also no coincidence that our team has gone to shit on the back of a certain bloke signing a certain type of player.

That result is down to nothing other than the Chinese Lightsalesman and the Gypo CEO
The manager set the tools at his disposal up well they dominated the game they created chances etc and done everything necessary to win a game
Can polish a turf but it still a piece of shit etc
The fact that we don't have a striker
The fact we are playing blokes like Hoff and Fitzuseless in the front 3 is the issue at heart here
Yesterday we were cost 3 points by the lack of backing in the front office
Other than Blue Aids this comp is wide open as the rest of the club's are shite and it the lack of ambition from the club that is costing us an ACL spot this season
We are going nowhere and it starts at the top
Ridenton has a lot more technical skill than the average A-League player - but if you rough him up a little he comes unstuck and it all falls apart for him. Yesterday, Adelaide got physical with him early, he got rattled, and couldn't hold possession or complete a pass for the rest of the game.
In saying that, he also gets distracted easily as well - Adelaide managed to get into his head yesterday before he even came on the field [watch the replay of them talking to him on the sideline awaiting to come on for Fitzgerald.
Apart from Ridenton who was terrible and Shepherd who's not ready just yet the tem performed very well.
If Fitzgerald could turn his chances into goals we wouldn't be able to afford him - same goes for Hoffman.
So can't see the point of people being critical of them - as you could never make a case against them based on their effort level.
I be critical of the reality is that they are not good enough
It time for the Gypo CEO to sanction the sale of the Jet Shaped Hats so we can find better players in the front 3rd
If we are relying on Fitzuseless and Hoffman to get 15 goals + between them we are delusional
They be lucky to get 5 between them
That putting an awful lot of pressure on Arroyo Dimi and the Gypo right back as no one else looks capable of scoring a goal
Ridenton had a shocker yesterday no doubt
But he not the first football ever to come off the bench and be not able to get up to speed of the game
No matter how honking he was his errors were nowhere near as catastrophic as Jackson Kanta Ugarkovic and Johnny Ks were yesterday
All he done was cough the ball up needlessly
The Marquee players and salary cap exemptions thing needs to be given the boot as well. Like socialism it's proposed to help the little guy when the facts are that it increases the gap between the haves and the have nots - because the haves are always able to innovate around the rules by capturing the regulator.
The minimum wage only keeps the playing field level if their are no exceptions to the salary cap. With exceptions like Marquees and so on the result will always be a class of overpaid and underperforming players - which doesn't help the national sides progress on the world stage.
