7:30 start - no reason not to start Burns, just do it Ernie, no excuses. The team needs to win this one, Gypos being above us should be incentive enough, it's a matter of pride now lads...
Life isn't the same without Con... but it can only improve without Tinks...

    Newcastle Jets FC Squad: 1.Glen MOSS (gk), 2.Bobby BURNS, 3.Jason HOFFMAN, 4.Nigel BOOGAARD (c), 5.Ben KANTAROVSKI, 6.Steven UGARKOVIC, 10.Dimi PETRATOS, 11.Nick FITZGERALD, 14.Kaine SHEPPARD, 16.Matt MILLAR, 18.Johnny KOUTROUMBIS, 19.Kosta PETRATOS, 20.Lewis ITALIANO (gk), 22.Lachlan JACKSON, 23.Matt RIDENTON, 25.Jack SIMMONS, 28.Pat LANGLOIS, 32.Angus THURGATE, 44.Nikolai TOPOR-STANLEY (1 to be omitted)

Ins: 4.Nigel BOOGAARD (promoted), 14.Kaine SHEPPARD (promoted), 25.Jack SIMMONS (promoted)
    Outs: Nil
    Unavailable: 8.Wes HOOLAHAN (ankle – indefinite), 9.Abdiel ARROYO (hamstring – 3-5 weeks)

Merrick has said that Thurgate, Langlois and Burns are gonna be in the starting line up. I also think Italiano should get a run, 10 goals have been leaked over two games and not all fault can go Mossy's way but thats as good a time as any to give Lewis a go and see how he fairs. I'd also like to see Millar played at wing and Hoff play fullback like he did last week but on the right side

Ok - so Boogs named on the bench despite, quoting NBN, "not being fit to play". In for his leadership capability.

    Discuss.

Not much different to how we select Prime Ministers in this country really.

Just another example of some of the bizarre shite this club has produced this season.

Please elaborate how we select our PM's ( which in fact we don't by the way ) is in anyway relevant to how we pick our game day squad. Just how much alcoholic eggnog have you consumed D ?.

Club Insiders chooses captain not the fans: Political Party Chooses the PM not the voters.
Club Captain Can't Play: PM can't manage the country.

Either way picking the club Cpt on game day in the squad just so he can qualify to sit on the bench in some coaching capacity typifies the lows this club has reached.

We are starting to make those numpty Gypo's look like a well run outfit at this point in time. Our Gypo CEO well and truly meeting all his KPI's in undermining the club from within.
