So the minute slience that was held in Yokohama for the Australian victims of the bushfires back in 2009 was political? It w as a bit ago but did the Lefties or the Libs light those fires sorry i cant remember.

It also quite bizarre to try holding it when the opposition team is from the exact area where the opposition support the opposition for that political issue

All a minutes silence is doing is creating an issue
Nah, its about a couple of Australians dying. Not bizarre. From memory no one was blaming the SAudis for them dying, they were just asking for a couple seconds out of their day to be nice. Agreed though that was a big ask, standing still and all that.

Get on with the game because quite frankly it does not make one ****ing iota of difference if a minute silence is held
Neither does praying to a make believe old man that lives in the sky but it doesnt stop a bunch of y'all turning up on sundays and trying now does it.

Drawing a long bow, but if we happen to play Syria in the next round (as is still possible) and they hold a minutes silence for victims of US bombing, it would not be comfortable for our guys.

I wasn't comfortable when they announced it in respect to who the opposition was.

Not trying to be funny or nasty here, just an observation from an older sweat.
agree, keep all minute silences out of football. who cares about some of the dead people if we cant care about ALL of the dead people.

i look forward to yelling and screaming when they are trying to be quiet for the next Hillsborough memorial. not a big deal right?

So memba, actual question. When you went to the game in Thailand did you follow the strongly suggested dress code of black? And what were your thoughts when they first announced no cheering was allowed? Did you dial back the beer showers even a little bit out of respect?

Sent you a photo so you can confirm I was wearing Socceroos 2006 Shirt at the game

Didn't need to worry about it as I had enough sauces on the ground in LoS that I in daily contact with to know the mourning period finished a few days before the game

I also knew the booze stopped after his death but kick started flowing again 2-3 days later

Plus as for the beer showers

I honestly not recall their being booze at the ground for sale

From memory I was drinking cups of molassis at the game they were hawking from downstairs

Ain't much of a catering contract at Rajamangala Stadium

Here we go. The Q&A tear jerker apologists view where we try to make the yanks as bad as ISIS? i hate this cowards approach. Of course the yanks are stupid but not as bad as these turd bastards. Should hook up with gretel kileen ay and have a blame everyone else convo. white men are fuctest apparently.

We would stand and join them because we arent dirty grubs.

    They done us good

    By my calculations

A draw in Japan and a win at home v Thailand and we in Russia

As that put us on 20 points and being as Saudis and Japan play final match together neither both can finish above or on 20 points if we get a draw in Japan

For this to happen Timmeh has to pull out one of his Japan specials. I am not confident we won't cop it by two or three.

    This maybe a lucky omen...

Also due to AAMI being the preferred surface. Ange apparently said he thinks that it is the best surface to play on and a rectangular stadium.
