I dont have a problem with the video game song. i like the song and i like the band. the problem is that the people in charge of telling us whats cool and what isnt decided that that sort of commercialism is ok. Much like the former contest winner selling his winning song as an insurance jingle 12 months later.
but those arrogant ****s think someone like Bruno Mars or Taylor Swift is ripe for ridicule because of their mainstream popularity.
and even though it isnt that big of a deal anymore because of the dwindling influence of that particular outlet, the fact they still spend a good portion of their day preaching tolerance and equality between fart sniffs always gives me a giggle. that is, until they finish preaching just long enough to go take that commercial station money and all of a sudden consumerism is good and old Rupert is just an aussie larrikin trying to make a dollar right?????
