just seems that these days, your art is subjected to a filter of whether its 'appropriate' to play. in those days it used to be language and adult content, today its your stance on the latest moral issues facing the planet. trust me, theres a DJ in a basement somewhere coming up with the 'OK Boomer' remix and its gonna get flogged to death.

Firstly, if you don't find OK Boomer funny then you just don't understand humour at its core. Plain and simple.

Secondly, if you listen to JJJ then you would know how much "commercial" music is on the airwaves and has been since the 90s. If a popstar can make good music, JJJ will play them. Taylor and Bruno just don't make music that JJJ listeners want to hear. There's no gatekeeping. The last time an non commercial band won JJJ hottest 100 was Augie March, which I can it assume was paid for by somebody cause that song was/is horrible to listen to.
