On Friday 5th May, The Jetstream team presented trophies to the winning players as voted on by the supporters in our recent online poll for the 2017 Jetstream Awards.

We joined the squad at Ray Watt Oval after their final training session of the season to address the playing squad. First up we briefly interviewed Jets captain Nigel Boogaard to sum up how the players felt about the season and how it ended. We then presented the winning players with their trophies in the presence of their team-mates. 

We are very pleased to announce the winners of the following categories:

• Defender of the 2016/17 Season – Jack Duncan
• Midfielder of the 2016/17 Season – Steven Ugarkovic
• Attacker of the 2016/17 Season – Andrew Nabbout
• Debut Player of the 2016/17 Season – Andrew Nabbout
• Staff Member of the 2016/17 Season – Luke Blundell
• Player of the 2016/17 Season – Steven Ugarkovic
