In this episode Furns was joined by Matt to chat over an unlikely win over Auckland away in NZ.

We started off with our thoughts overall on the win and our style of play, and the difference vs the three losses. We talked over the performances from the players and the goals. A ridiculous level of water on the pitch torpedoed a watchable second half where we asked whats the threshold for suspending play?

Lastly, we finished the episode by chatting about City and giving our predictions for the game. Then our predictions for rest of the fixtures in Round 7.

In this episode Furns is joined by Andy and Clarkey to discuss a thumping victory in the Mens competition.

We jumped straight into a dominant performance and score in the F3 Derby against the old enemy. Discussion included the starting lineup, being on it from the opening whistle, some player performances, all six goals and the flashpoints including a few tasty tackles and a red card for Roux lashing out at Timmins.

The Women were quickly mentioned, who lost last week against Melbourne City and we hope that they can put in a score similar to the Men’s in the final game of the regular season in their F3 Derby in Maitland.

Then we previewed Sunday’s away match in Sydney for the Men and gave our predictions for the rest of Round 27.

In this episode Furns is joined by Dr Emma after a week off for the bye to chat over the home draw against league leaders Auckland in the Mens, and two wins in the Womens against Perth and Sydney.

Talk moved into a mixed performance against the new boys Auckland where we started well and scored and then momentum shifting to the away side after a penalty save. We discussed the condition of the pitch, the starting lineup, performances at various stages of the game, game stats, scoring, having a penalty saved then conceding (again!!) before halftime, and then having a man advantage for 20 minutes but not being able to make it count.

We then moved on to discussing two great results for the Women’s team against Perth and Sydney at home, whats been the catalyst for the change in fortune, then we previewed the away fixture in Brisbane against the Roar.

Then we moved onto previewing two games in four days for the Men who have to travel away to Melbourne to face City on Wednesday, then back home again to face Western on Sunday. We chatted over what rotation we would be likely to see over the two games, as well as who the opposition could field.

We finished off the episode by discussing the recent news regarding the speculation around Rob Stanton’s future at the club as he has been reported to have signed his extension but still may leave at the end of the season if he feels the club isnt going to invest in the coaching team to enable the team to improve into the future.
