In this episode Furns was joined by Matt and Andy to discuss the Jets road to the Final in the 2025 Australia Cup.

We started off with talking about the games leading to the final, against a mix of A-League and NPL opposition. Discussion consequently moved to the performance of the team under a new coach, the players who have stood out in the four games so far and how the games panned out.

Then we discussed our opponents Heidelberg in the upcoming Final. A strong road to the final including 3 “cupsets”, and their well-credentialled coach Johnny A. Talk progressed on to the Jets and what we needed to do to win and who might be in the starting XI.

Lastly, we finished the episode by giving our predictions for the Final and then a quick chat over our lovely bit of kit.

Newcastle United Jets FC 1 vs Central Coast Mariners 2 (ALW)

Newcastle United Jets FC 0 – Western Sydney Wanderers 1 (ALM)

Melbourne Victory 1 – Newcastle United Jets FC 1 (ALM)

In this episode Furns was joined by Matt and Ben to discuss the final two Jets games in the Mens regular season.

We started off with talking about the final home game against Western Sydney. Discussion included the performance of the team, before diverting down a few side roads about the coach, the players and their results recently compared to prior games. We got back on track and moved on after a chat about the stats.

Then we chatted over the final game of the Jets season away in Melbourne against the Victory. Did the players down tools? Was Rob Stanton able to keep his players focused until the final whistle? Did Matt get confused about who he was on the pod with? All these questions were answered and more!

We finished the episode by giving our predictions for the elimination finals and who would ultimately win the Grand Final.

In this episode Furns is joined by Andy and Clarkey to discuss a thumping victory in the Mens competition.

We jumped straight into a dominant performance and score in the F3 Derby against the old enemy. Discussion included the starting lineup, being on it from the opening whistle, some player performances, all six goals and the flashpoints including a few tasty tackles and a red card for Roux lashing out at Timmins.

The Women were quickly mentioned, who lost last week against Melbourne City and we hope that they can put in a score similar to the Men’s in the final game of the regular season in their F3 Derby in Maitland.

Then we previewed Sunday’s away match in Sydney for the Men and gave our predictions for the rest of Round 27.
