Furns is joined by the returning Matt to talk over a fantastic performance and result at home against Brisbane.

A dominating display across the entire 90 minutes saw the Jets run out 4-0 winners against a dispirited Roar side, and the guys chat over what made the result happen including the starting lineup, some standout performances and tactics in the midfield as well as the stats.

This result in context with other games over the weekend and saw the Jets get some breathing space away from the bottom of the ladder and put us in touching distance of the top six with, hopefully, some better results and performances to come.

Talk then moved over the upcoming away fixture against Perth and what we could expect considering Perth is in a much better run of form than Brisbane and what we can carry over from that game away to WA.

The episode concluded with tips for the rest of Rd15.

We’re back, after another week off, and we roped in Dr Emma to join Furns and Matt to talk over three games in the ALeague Mens – a brilliant 2-0 home win against Sydney FC, a mediocre away nil-all draw to Perth and a diabolical 2-0 away loss to Brisbane.  We give overviews of the games, starting XI, the goals and highlights/lowlights/controversies, etc. We also talk about what could be behind the wildly inconsistent performances apart from covid and travel.

Then we preview the upcoming home game against Perth at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon, will the team rebound from the poor performance against the Brisbane? We also realised after we finished recording that Penha is only suspended for one game not three, so theres that. We then give our score predictions for the other A-League Men fixtures taking place this week.
