Its a massive Christmas edition as Furns (@SquadronNewy) Dave (@JeterPool) & Grant (@GrantBLK) review @Aleague Rd11 #NEWvADL @NewcastleJetsFC 2-1 victory over @AdelaideUnited & then preview the Rd12 Boxing Day fixture #NEWvWEL @WgtnPhoenixFC at @MJStadium

After the opening question, the team review the Jets 2-1 win over Adelaide, talking over the tactics in the match and the performances of a few of the players. You can also hear a post game interview Dr Emma (@Synapse101) conducted with Jets supporter Ivan (@hecivan70) as well as the thoughts of Mark Jones in his post game press conference, thanks to @FoxFootball 
They then review & preview the Jets W-League and Youth League results from the weekend.

They then jump into the preview of the Rd12 fixture on Boxing Day against Wellington. They discuss their expected lineup and whether its a good idea to change a winning starting XI, as well as whether the tactics need to change from the previous games to get the result against the Phoenix. The guys then discuss Wellingtons danger players before giving their predictions on the result.

The guys then give their predictions for the rest of Rd12 before talking about the news in the media about re-signings and transfer non-signings, community engagement and the newly announced Fox Sports FFA media deal. The Jetstream Podcast – Bring Back The Mongrel

Grant (@SquadronNewy) Dr Emma (@Synapse101) & Grant (@GrantBLK) review @NewcastleJetsFC 2-0 loss to the @WgtnPhoenixFC & preview the game against @MelbourneCity

Furns returns to hosting and after the opening question, the panel get into their overall impressions of the Jets first away loss of the season, before a quick post match interview with coach Mark Jones, thanks to Fox Sports. They then go into detail about the game, with discussions on the formation and tactics, some players performances and the talking points of the match.

As the Rd 6 game against @MelbourneCity falls earlier in the week on a Thursday, we decided to go back to our old format for this week and do the review and preview in one episode.

So after the Recovery Lounge segment thanks to the Fill The Hill podcast, the panel then talk regarding the squad and preferred starting XI, as well as chat about the possible formation and tactics. There is also a chat regarding sports psychology before an interview with Matty (@MattyBAus) from the @Talking City podcast to get the Melbourne City perspective for thursday’s game. The podcast ends with everybody’s predictions for the Jets vs City fixture as well as the other games in Round 6 of the @Aleague

The Jetstream Preview – Stats Are Just Talking Points

Dave (@JeterPool), Dr Emma (@Synapse101) & Anthony (@_ascarcella) preview @Aleague Rd5 #WELvNEW @WgtnPhoenixFC vs @NewcastleJetsFC at @WestpacStadium

**Apologies for the rough edits in some sections of this episode. We experienced some issues with Anthony’s mic that weren’t evident until after the recording session was completed.**

After the opening question, the panel discuss the general impressions around the upcoming game on the weekend, before an excerpt from the Fill the Hill podcast with Todd Blackwell and Grant recorded live at Jets training at Ray Watt Oval. This leads into the discussion on the squad and likely starting XI, and what tactics are required to win across the ditch.

We then jump into an interview that Furns (@SquadronNewy) conducted with Patrick (@Patrick478) from the Phoenix City Podcast where they discuss the Wellington perspective for the upcoming match – going into their winless start to the season, their squad and international fixtures, recruitment and likely lineup and how he sees the match unfolding.

The panel then return to discuss Wellingtons start to the season, before giving the predictions for the game. There is then a brief chat on the @JetsWomen squad with the W-League due to kick off very soon, before the panel then predict the results for the rest of the A-League round.
