Furns (@JetstreamNewy) sits down via Zoom with Executive Director Maurice Bisetto to discuss the club and plans for the future #NTUA #VamosElJerkos

Furns has a wide ranging chat with Maurice Bisetto, a few months after the Maverick Sports Partners takeover of the Newcastle United Jets FC was announced. 

We cover off the bidding process and announcement, what hes been up to since the takeover, and his thoughts on the road ahead for the Jets and the A-League. We also asked your questions as part of the interview that were submitted via the forums and social media channels.

The Jetstream Offseason – Lawrie McKinna (+Scott Miller bonus) Interview

In another offseason episode Furns (@newyboys), Dave (@Jeterpool) and Michael (@BodyNovo) sit down and interview new Jets CEO Lawrie McKinna (@LawrieMcKinna).

We ask a variety of questions to Lawrie as well as some questions submitted by fellow Jets supporters. We find out his initial impressions of the club, what the plans for the club are in the immediate future, the future of the Emerging Jets and Womens teams, questions on community ownership & engagement, and a bunch of other topics. And we also find out the status of the jets shaped hats.

After the Lawrie interview, we were also able to briefly interview Jets coach Scott Miller (@ScottGMiller). We ask Scott about his recent trip overseas, the status of some of the fringe players in the squad, what Wayne Brown brings to the team and the preparations for the FFA Cup fixture against Melbourne Victory. Due to time constraints, we weren’t able to ask as many of the fans submitted questions as we wanted. We will endeavour to interview Scott again at a later date.

The Jetstream Offseason – Taylor Regan Interview

In this offseason episode, David (@JeterPool) interviews former Newcastle United Jets player Taylor Regan (@TaylorReegs).

They cover off a wide range of topics while discussing Taylor’s time at the Jets: playing from youth all the way up to captaining the senior team, his debut, his favourite centre back partner,  scoring his first and only goal for the club, his mixed emotions about taking the armband, his disappointment about not being retained and how he is currently going over in Malaysia. Taylor also offers advice to young players aspiring the reach the A-League. We’re also joined by breakfast companion Kew Jaliens … wonder whose shout it was?!
